herbed creamy dip

½ c. cream cheese           
½ c. sour cream           
2 tsp. finely chopped chives       
½ tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. fresh parsley (chopped)
1 tsp. fresh dill    (chopped)
½ tsp. fresh basil (chopped)
salt/fresh ground pepper

in blender or food processor, blend cream cheese, sour cream until very smooth.  Stir in chopped herbs, lemon juice and salt & pepper to
taste.   Chill for about one hour.  Makes about 1 cup.

this dip is a party-pleaser,  Serve with crunchy vegetables or mini toasts.  Vary the herbs as you wish.
